my experience

I don't have a problem running Notes 8 on Vista but the two exe files do take some time to unload from memory. Even on Windows XP it takes about 10secs to unload notes2w.exe and eclipse.exe (i have 2Gb of RAM). If your PC is low on memory, it will take more time. (but in the end, they should unload).
